WHO ARE WE?

Stay4Me is a community project set up to honor our late, Neena, and help bring awareness to mental health. By adding mental health games in the basketball community we believe we can help to start to change the stigma surrounding mental health awareness in sports. With fundraising and sales of company apparel, we are focused on raising money for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

NEENA JUNE PACHOLKE

Meet the person who has inspired us all. Neena was a true ray of sunshine. She made everyone feel loved. No matter what community she was apart of she made a MAJOR impact on it. Our goal as her family is to continue her legacy and live and love the way she did.

Neena

I know Neena impacted an incredible amount of people, so with this website we have created a space for all of the people that miss her to have a place to talk about her. You can join the group by clicking the button below.

What does our name mean?
Stay4Me came from a dream I had with Neena. She came to me and told me to go forward with it and introduce it to the world. At first I had to figure out what it really meant. After some long thoughts and therapy sessions, I found what it meant to me.
First part is that no matter how low/lonely/unloved you feel, I promise there is someone that wants you to stay. If you try to tell me I'm wrong, I can guarantee you that I want you to stay here on this Earth. I don't want you to give up.. YOU ARE LOVED. The second part and most important is that when you are in the dark place of depression and having suicidal thoughts, you have a true breakthrough when you start choosing to live for yourself. Speaking from experience, that is the goal- love yourself so much that you want to keep going for YOU.

The "4" in our LOGO represents several things. Neena wore #4 in college basketball so we wanted to incorporate that. We also realized we could make it into a shorter version of the finger breathing technique (see image)
